Downhill to Christmas

Posted in Gigs, Recording on 17/08/2012 by chrish

We have the following gigs booked for the remainder of this year:

Firstly, we’re taking part in SONGS FOR JANE, a benefit for Brain Tumour Research in memory of Jane Howden. It’s at West Street Live in Sheffield, on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August, with live music from 4 till 11 pm, and DJs till 2am.  We’ll be playing at about 7:45, and we also have an exclusive track on the special compilation album which will be available at this event.

Next month, on 22nd September we’ll be in Liverpool, at Mello Mello for Newpath Livedetails here.

After that we’ve got two support gigs which will be really special:  on 21st of October we’re with Californian psych-rockers Carlton Melton at Hebden Bridge Trades Club (courtesy of Was Ist Das?) ; and then on 9th of November we’re back in Manchester opening for Agitation Free at Moho Live.

Details of all these on the gigs page.

On the recording front, we’re putting the finishing touches to the first volume of collaborations with Black Tempest, there’s an explosive live recording of Bikini Atoll on the forthcoming Cardinal Fuzz sampler, and we’re busy working on some new material for both the live set and future releases.
